Christian Deliverance
(Some call it deliverance, I call it bringing people from darkness into the light.)
I don't like the word deliverance, but I use it only because
so many people have some sense of what it means.
God is able and willing to set the captives free, and the work I do is to facilitate just that.
Call it what you will.
There is tremendous power in prayer, and Christ has given us authority over all the power of the enemy. When prayer is combined with the spiritual authority we carry in Him, the result is a forceful and effective means of overcoming life's greatest struggles—whether that be depression, anxiety, compulsions, addictions, tormenting voices, spiritual oppression, or overwhelming emotions. All of them can be overcome. I've seen it too many times to deny that God is in the business of setting people free, healing them, and bringing them into the kingdom of God.
It's a fairly simple thing.
Deliverance is for the desperate, and it's the desperate who receive it. If you are not ready to be free of everything that plagues you, wait until you are. If you are doubleminded, it will only lead you to confusion. If you are uneasy with a Christian approach to finding freedom, I respect your conviction but suggest you seek other means.
What a deliverance session looks like:
I do all my sessions on Zoom, and before the session, I will ask you to make a list of the things that are plaguing you. I will send out a list of questions that will help me understand your problems better and to know what entanglements you may have in the kingdom of darkness, which you will have to leave behind. If you are involved in the occult in any way, you must be done with it and repent of it before we meet. If you don't, I can't help you.
When we meet, I will explain that all I do for you is pray for you in the authority given by Christ to his followers--authority that sets people free from demonic influences, in whatever shape or form they take. I will pray and command these things to leave you and not come back in the name of Jesus, and will also ask God to fill you with what is good and godly. If you are uncomfortable with Jesus, this may not be the route for you.
I have seen lives radically changed as a result of this kind of prayer, but I will repeat this: deliverance is for the desperate. If you are not desperate, wait until you are.
I have seen incredible changes in people's lives and the removal of many demonic influences (negative spiritual entities) as a result of prayer, and I have no doubt in the power of God to set someone free.
