Before Deliverance
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU DO DELIVERANCE
Before you take the journey into deliverance, there is a lot you need to know. Deliverance is not a one-and -done thing, and it can take some time and requires you to make some serious changes in your life. Before a deliverance session, you need to be ready for what will come. The videos below are well worth your time and effort, and I won't take anyone through deliverance until they have at least watched one of them.

What Deliverance Looks Like and What It Requires Afterward
Deliverance is a powerful ministry where, in the authority of Jesus Christ, we command demonic spirits to leave a person who has been oppressed or influenced by them (Mark 16:17; Luke 10:19). It's not Hollywood-style drama—though manifestations like coughing, yawning, shaking, or vocal responses can sometimes occur as spirits resist and exit—but more often it's a calm, prayerful process guided by the Holy Spirit.A typical session might include:
• Preparation and assessment: We talk through your history, identify open doors (unforgiveness, occult involvement, sin patterns, trauma, etc.), and lead in repentance and renunciation.
• Prayer for protection: We invite the Holy Spirit, put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6), and bind interfering spirits.
• Confrontation and casting out: In Jesus' name, we address and expel spirits, often commanding them to leave and never return.
• Closing and filling: We invite the Holy Spirit to fill every vacated area, sealing the work with praise and Scripture.
The goal is freedom—freedom from torment, strongholds, lies, and oppression—so you can walk more fully in the abundant life Jesus promises (John 10:10).But deliverance is not a one-time "fix" or magic reset. Jesus warned that when an unclean spirit leaves, it can seek to return with worse companions if the house (your life) remains empty (Matthew 12:43-45). True, lasting freedom requires your active participation afterward. Here's what that commitment looks like:
1. Submit fully to God— Yield every area of your life to Jesus' lordship. Stay under His authority and obey as He reveals new areas to surrender (James 4:7).
2. Resist the devil actively— Be vigilant. When old thoughts, temptations, or accusations return, stand firm, rebuke lies in Jesus' name, and don't give the enemy a foothold (James 4:7; Ephesians 4:27; 1 Peter 5:8-9).
3. Draw near to God daily— Fill the "empty house" with God's presence through consistent prayer, worship, Bible meditation (especially verses tied to your areas of freedom), and fellowship. Renew your mind with truth to replace old lies (Romans 12:2; James 4:8).
4. Walk in ongoing repentance and inner healing— If wounds or unforgiveness surface, address them quickly. Continue closing doors through confession, forgiveness, and renouncing any lingering ties.
5. Stay connected— Remain in accountable community, pursue discipleship, and don't isolate. Spiritual warfare is ongoing, but you fight from victory in Christ.
Deliverance sets you free; your daily choices keep you free. If you do not make the right choices, the demons may come back. It's a beautiful partnership with the Holy Spirit—He does the heavy lifting, but He invites you to walk it out in faith, obedience, and closeness to Him. If you're ready to pursue this with full surrender and commitment, we're here to walk with you.
